Though the listing is very exciting news for Spyro fans, it’s perhaps unsurprising given recent evidence and teasing from Activision pointing to an imminent reveal. About a month ago, speculation about the remaster picked up after a data mine of the ‘Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy’ found a demo code for Spyro the Dragon. Since then, Activision has seemingly engaged in a bizarre but carefully planned viral marketing campaign including a secretive Twitter account named “Falcon McBob” and a purple dragon egg sent to IGN associate news editor Jonathon Dornbush.

Whatever the motivation behind the Spyro listing, the new details and screenshots will no doubt serve as an exciting development for fans of the franchise. With the Spyro hype steadily building and given the success of the Crash Bandicoot N-Sane Trilogy  last year, it seems as though the Spyro Reignited Trilogy could be one of the biggest releases of 2018.
