On Wednesday, the state attorney’s office in Florida released a video showing Javon Carter, 29, counting several hundred dollar bills. Investigators believe the money Carter can be seen counting was cash he was given for the alleged murder of Le’Shonte Jones, 24, according to WPLG. The money reportedly came into Carter’s possession from Jasmine Martinez, 33, as part of a fraudulent loan through the Paycheck Protection Program, officers said. Martinez, WPLG reports, took out a $15,000 loan through the government program designed to help small businesses back in April....
